What Worship Is Not

On the eve of the Lord’s day, it should be a habit of every Christian to prepare their body and soul for worship service tomorrow. In fact, I often remind our congregation that worship really begins on the night before.

One of the ways in which you can well prepare for tomorrow is to stop and think what it is that you are about to do tomorrow. Furthermore, not only to think individually for yourself, but corporately as a church. Perhaps one of the practical things to do is to remind yourself what is biblical worship. If so, do I faithfully worship biblically? Also, does our church faithfully worship biblically?

To help you with this time of meditation and reflection, Steve Camp offers a good reminder of what worship is not.
